North Carolina adds native plants

LAKE GASTON, N.C. — The North Carolina B.A.S.S. Nation collaborated with the Lake Gaston Homeowner's Association, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and North Carolina State University to plant native aquatic vegetation in Lake Gaston to combat invasive hydrilla infestation.

In all, 30 volunteers contributed 480 man-hours to add plants to 100 acres of habitat.
