Massachusetts anglers clean up ramp

The Mass Bass Buddies made the boat ramp at Lake Massapoag more accessible.

Members of the Mass Bass Buddies cleared the boat ramp at Lake Massapoag in Tyngsboro, Mass., making it easier for shore fishermen to wet a line.

Twelve volunteers worked for two hours each, cutting and discarding grass and weeds, trimming tree branches and collecting trash.

Volunteer James Picardi added that the group filled sinkholes and smoothed over the ramp, allowing easier access for trailered boats.
