MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – Rick Pierce, president of Bass Cat and Yar-Craft boats, recently announced the appointment of Kevin Short as the International Sales Representative for both brands.
Short, who previously assisted Bass Cat and Yar-Craft with sales of online parts, recently retired from the Bassmaster Elite Series where he won five B.A.S.S. events while competing on the tour for 12 seasons. His success as a professional angler, earning over $1,000,000, combined with his extensive knowledge of Bass Cat and electronics will be extremely beneficial in establishing a larger global presence for both brands.
“Kevin’s skillset, motivation, and passion as a competitor will bring him forward in many areas of product knowledge driving to serve the customer,” stated Pierce. “We are excited and looking forward to working with Kevin in his new role. He will spread the legacy of Bass Cat and Yar-Craft around the globe,” added Pierce.
