Okuma has been climbing the ranks in both the saltwater and freshwater scenes every year, and for 2013, the company would like to announce the addition of B.A.S.S. pro Jeremy Starks to the team.
Jeremy Starks, a native of Charleston, W.Va., is a two-time Bassmaster Elite Series champion. He brought home a win on Wheeler Lake in 2008, and added another win on Douglas Lake in 2012. Starks is also a 2013 Bassmaster Classic qualifier. He has been fishing the Bassmaster Elite Series tour for eight years and notched five Top 10 finishes and 10 Top 20 finishes.
“I aggressively sought out Okuma this past year because I took notice of the top quality of the products,” Starks said. “I know they are moving in the right direction and in a hurry. I wanted to be a part of that, and I wanted to be able to rely on a top-quality product for my fishing success. I am truly excited to be on board.”
