Plain ol' night crawlers, but I dont use live bait a lot I use a Berkley bait called Gulp. It's like using the real thing

How many of a certain lure is enough? Do we really need nine of same crankbait in all depths?

Have a crankbait that reaches every depth you're going to fish. You want that crankbait to hit the bottom. You always want the crankbait to go as deep or deeper than the water you're fishing.
