FARMINGTON, Ill. — Gator Guards, manufacturer of boat protection products, is offering a school sponsorship and tournament rewards program for college and high school students.

Clubs from all colleges and high schools can apply for a variety of discounts and donations for fundraising at this link.

“We believe these clubs and organizations are an integral part in bringing up the next generation of anglers and boaters,” said Nick Barr, media coordinator of Gator Guards and a graduate of the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series.

“This is our way of giving back to a segment of driven youth who need all the help they can get. We have been supporting school programs since 2010, but this program will make it easier for clubs to take advantage of what we have to offer.”

>Clubs of any size are eligible. Team sponsorship includes 40 percent off Gator Guards products, an apparel credit of $100 to $200, and up to $500 in Gator Guards product.

In addition, the company offers the Gator Guards College/HS Keel Kash program, which gives product credit for high finishes in qualifying tournaments.

“This is a great way for clubs to get started raising funds to afford the costly travel and operations they endure throughout the year,” said Barr. “This platform allows clubs to show their schools they are serious about creating organizations that will get aspiring anglers on the water for years to come.”
