ANDERSON, S.C. — Here's what we heard (and overheard) on Day Two of the 2008 Bassmaster Classic:

"Oh, crap! I won't be able to pop out of the stage."

Jeff Kriet, 5th place, 18 pounds, 12 ounces, on losing a six-pounder to potentially miss his Super Six appearance. (In past Classics the final six on Day Three have taken part in a special show including appearing on stage through a cut out hole.)

"I made it by the skin of my teeth."
