Mount Nebo State Park rises to 1,350 feet and is near 34,300-acre Lake Dardanelle on the Arkansas River. Largemouth bass, crappie and bream are stocked in these waters to maintain good fishing. Spotted bass, white bass and big catfish also add to the mix. The park has 34 campsites and 14 cabins, extensive hiking trails, a mountain bike trail, a pool, tennis courts, picnic areas, playgrounds, pavilions, a ball field and launch sites for hang gliding enthusiasts. 479-229-3655
