College teams looking for some fall competition can visit central Arkansas and Lake Dardanelle for the Sixth Annual Arkansas Tech Invitational. 

The Arkansas Tech University Bass team is hosting the event Oct. 21-22 out of the Lake Dardanelle State Park, site of the 2011 Mercury College B.A.S.S. West Super Regional. Take-off is safe light both days.

Below is tournament information. All registration forms must be filled out and sent to Christie Austin (caustin@ridoutlumber.com) no later than October 7.

There is an off limits period of Oct. 8-15, but teams can start prefishing on Sunday, October 16 at day light.

Arkansas Tech is asking each angler to bring a box of cereal for the ‘Fill the Boat’ event. At the Oct. 20 banquet at the Hughes Center, Tech hopes to fill a bass boat to benefit the mission in Russellville. Last year 250 boxes were donated.

The school has secured two host hotels that will provide rooms at $55 per night for up to four in a room. Call the numbers and inform clerk you are in the ATU Invitational.
