ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. — The Alabama B.A.S.S. Nation is continuing its involvement in the process of re-licensing two dams on the Tallapossa River.
"Activities include review of the plans for assessment of impacts, submittal documents, input management strategies for all aspects of the dams and input any mitigation activities we see as relevant to fish populations, access, shoreline habitat, recreation and access," explained Jim Howard.
Howard, who's leading the effort, is also involved to a minor degree in requests for additional info or changes requested by other organizations to approved licenses for the entire Coosa and Warrior river dams.
Howard contributed 24 man-hours to this project in 2012.
