2015 High School All-American: Jake Lee

Jake Lee has some important trophies on his mantel, including one from the first-ever Bassmaster High School Classic Exhibition and one from the first-ever Bassmaster High School Open.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Jake Lee has some important trophies on his mantel.

The junior at Karns High School won the first-ever Bassmaster High School Classic Exhibition, in 2014 on Lay Lake, then went on to win the first-ever Bassmaster High School Open. He also took first place in a Bass Pro Shops event on Norris Lake.

He also has Top 20 finishes in the first Bassmaster High School Championship and the Bass Pro Shops Battle of Chickamauga.

Kim Tow, principal of Lee's high school, calls Lee a responsible and well-rounded student.

"Jake has worked hard to maintain a solid GPD throughout high school," said Tow. "He is well liked and respected by his peers and teachers."

Lee is president of the fishing team at his school, and when he's not fishing, he's volunteering at his church or with the Sportsman Ministries.

Lee will compete with a Bassmaster Elite Series pro, June 6, during the Bassmaster High School All-American event on Lake Barkley. He earned a spot on the All-American team, along with 11 other top high school anglers.
