Bass fishing kayak anchor security

Rigging claws on kayaks incorrectly is a common mistake. Claw anchors dig into the bottom and hold the yak in place, helping the angler present lures out of an easily windblown craft. The trouble starts when the anchor wedges between rocks or into immovable brush. It’s stuck for good, and it’s time to cut your anchor line, unless you’ve rigged it properly.
