Randy and I enjoy going to ICAST each year whether it is in Las Vegas or Orlando.
I thought it would be fun to tell a little story about the years I fished the Bass'n Gal circuit.
The fishing life is definitely a different “normal” than what most people experience. Randy and I don’t have 8 to 5 jobs, and our kids don’t have a normal school year.
Our week at Toledo Bend in Louisiana made me so grateful for good ol’ hospitality done right.
In my first column, I mentioned learning from failures pertaining to my boat backing skills. I thought I should explain a little further.
A lot has changed since I wrote my first column for Bassmaster.com. I guess you could say that is an understatement. Randy has won the Classic, and my world has done a complete 360!
I am excited to be writing this column from a wife’s perspective traveling on the Bassmaster Elite Series tour. This is my and Randy’s 21st year on tour, and I think that people will enjoy reading about life behind the scenes in the professional sport of bass fishing.
