Trends and Travel

I'm putting this one together in the airport in California. The plane's broke. I've been sitting here for about seven hours. Have you ever noticed that planes break on the way home when you want to see your family?

The Hunt is On

Oct 27, 2008

This one's going to be short. I've been on the road for a few weeks, so I'm spending some time with my family and trying to do a little deer hunting.

Watch and Learn

Oct 15, 2008

My job was to do TV coverage of the tournament from an expert's point of view, expert analysis is what they call it. They wanted me to analyze patterns and fishing trends so that our viewers had a better understanding of the tournament in real time as it unfolded.

My job is to provide expert, real-time commentary on what's going on and help our audience understand the tournament as it's unfolding.

Sep 18, 2008

This week I think we should talk about versatility. We've talked around it from time to time but not directly at it. It's important; we need to spend to some time on it.

Finding the Right Balance

Our season's over now. Everything is starting to calm down a bit. Let's talk about downtime. It's not a luxury, you know. It's a necessity-for you and your family.

We Do the Right Thing

Aug 28, 2008

The other day I received a call from a writer with an interesting question. Basically, he asked why I thought our sport hasn't been plagued by a major scandal like so many others, especially now that there's so much money involved?
