One hot team on a cool day

We've watched a lot of fishing and very little catching this cool morning on DeGray Lake. But we just happened upon a red hot team – Josh Moore and Keith Butler from Tennessee. They've got a 5-bass limit weighing an estimated 10 or 11 pounds an d have culled up four times to get there.

It was all but unanimous last night at the anglers meeting that 10 to 12 pounds would be a great day on this lake, which has a 16-inch minimum length limit on largemouth bass and an abundance of 15 1/2-inchers.

Moore and Butler are confident they can improve on what they've already got in the boat.

"If we catch 'em like we did in here yesterday (in practice), we'll cull everything we've got," Butler said.

Bam! Right on cue, Butler lands a 2 1/2-pounder that allows them to cull up again.
