Foggy start for final day at DeGray

There's some fog hanging over DeGray Lake this morning, but not enough to delay the 7:30 a.m. start on a day that will decide the final berth in the 2015 Bassmaster Classic.

Brandon Gray was the only one of the six finalists to catch a five-bass limit yesterday. His total weight of 10 pounds, 8 ounces gives him a 2-pound, 3-ounce lead over second-place Jon "Scooter" Griffith.

Royce Davis, shown in the photo taken by Bassmaster Marshal Theron Asbury, is in third place with 4-4. He started this morning on the same brushpile that he caught his two largemouth bass keepers yesterday morning.

Rain is now out of the forecast and it's warmer this morning – in the upper 40s – but the overcast skies are predicted to continue for awhile. As opposed to yesterday's cold rain, it's a great day to be on the water, especially for mid-December.

By the way, today's date is 12/13/14. It will be a memorable date for one of these angler's. The weigh-in begins at 3:30 p.m.
