Susquehanna Valley team has four in the livewell

8:10 am EDT, Jul 19, 2014

Just found the Susquehanna Valley team who was in second place to start the day. Garrett Enders and Nick Osman have four in the boat for around 5 pounds. Even with a 30-minute penalty to start the morning, these Pennsylvania anglers have made quick work.

Leaders make a move

7:38 am EDT, Jul 19, 2014

After no fish to start the day on their first spot, the leaders picked up and took off to another spot. The fifth-place team of Noah Pescitelli and Thomas Zaczek are still there.

We are with the Pell City team of Zeke Gossett and Hayden Bartee. They have two so far: a 2 1/2 and a 1 1/2. They are running a shallow pattern in a cove where they lost two 4-pounders late yesterday.

The tension may be ratcheting up a few notches

6:57 am EDT, Jul 19, 2014

The teams of Tyler Dunn-Matthew Shrewsbury and Noah Pescitelli-Thomas Zaczek are sharing the first spot of the day. If I'm not mistaken, this spot was where the 5-pound, 15-ounce big fish was caught yesterday as well as the leaders' total weight. It'll be interesting how these young anglers respond to fishing so close to one another. Who will rise up, who will struggle or if it will affect both of them. Not to mention, they both have camera boats on them as well.

A tough day

1:25 pm EDT, Jul 18, 2014

I just left the lake and it seems tough for almost every team today. The Louisiana team of Kody Kelly and Dillon King have a limit, may be the only one thus far. I spoke to probably 20 of the 30 teams and none of them had 5 fish. Small fish are burdening the field. One decent bite could propel a team high up the standings.
