Bassmaster has another tournament taking place today. There are 12 high school teams from 12 different states fishing in the High School Classic on Lake Houston. They launched this morning and will weigh in on the big Bassmaster Classic stage at Minute Maid Park this afternoon, beginning at 3:15. Lake Houston is just 15 miles from downtown and is a reservoir of the San Jacinto River. The teams qualified for this event by finishing highly in recent Costa Bassmaster High School events presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods.
