2:45 pm EDT, Sep 28, 2013

Jordan Lee, a marketing major, is determined for this to be his year to win the Classic berth. Lee says he saw how doors opened for his brother Matt Lee last year and wants to win for that reason. But primarily, he wants to test his mettle against the top bass fishing pros.

Lee targeting docks

12:29 pm EDT, Sep 28, 2013

Just caught up with Jordan Lee. He still has 4 for around 8.5 pounds. Working docks with a frog much like he did yesterday to hit the 15 pound mark. We're nearing in on the magical hour or two where the fish fed the best for the anglers yesterday. Jordan caught the majority of his weight in the last two hours yesterday and he's hoping for a flurry like that again today to hold off Nick Barr, who also caught most of his fish late yesterday.

Jordan Lee's working hard to catch fish No.5. Right before we got back to Lee, he landed fish No. 4. Four fish, about 7 1/2 lb.

Nummy fishing in a shallow backwater

11:02 am EDT, Sep 28, 2013

We are sitting way off of Jacob Nummy now. He's worked his way into a shallow backwater. When he boated his last fish, even from this distance it was obviously a good one. Looked to be around 3-4 pounds. He's also caught a couple of small fish that may have kept. If so that big one field his limit in a big way. We'll try to get a definite update as soon as possible.

Update on Barr

10:33 am EDT, Sep 28, 2013

He moved to his next spot since he only caught one keeper that weighed roughly two pounds. The current has changed and lots of boat traffic is going around him.  He is hoping that this spot produces better results.

The latest on Lee

9:25 am EDT, Sep 28, 2013

He caught a 3-lber around 8:50. That was his second fish of the day.  I will leave him now to look for his competition for Day Two, Nick Barr.
