Executing on the 'bent pole pattern'

We started on a College team that typically does well, and we're seeing a little execution of the "bent pole pattern" already this morning.

This is a technique that's infamous on the Tennessee river and the Achilles' heel for ledge fishermen. For those who don't know, an example of this would be KVD sitting on a spot while a lesser skilled angler runs by.... Except when the passerby realizes it's KVD, you hear a drop in the RPMs as the angler strains to get a closer look. This is a mild example.

Other examples range from idling in and marking a waypoint to pulling up and fishing right along side of someone. So far, two boats have idled in, marked waypoints and moved on. Gone for now but not for long I would imagine.
