Good-natured ribbing has begun

It's that time of day when things are starting to get a little loose.

It's that time of day when things are starting to get a little loose.

Kevin VanDam, Russ Lane and Jeff Kriet are close enough to talk and the good-natured ribbing has begun.

We can only hear choice words and they aren't fit for print. No anger just a little fun.

It provides a little room for chuckles. Those unaccustomed to how close these Elite guys are have wondered all morning if one of these anglers might chastise the other.

No chance since they are all staying within their boundaries. But that doesn't mean they don't jack with each other when they get the chance.

When you put KVD close to Kriet, you can pretty much book it; one or the other is going to send out a barb.

That just took place, with both smiling as they moved away. It's a good break in the monotony of the fish catching.

Lane quickly breaks that with his fifth keeper. Looks to be about 4 pounds from our distance.
