After a 40 minute drive down the lake to Chester Frost Park, we are finally on the lake.
The first spot we pulled up to is an "island head," which is another name for an underwater hump.
There are five boats within a couple of casts from each other. One of those is Skylar Hamilton, one of the favorites in this event. He tells us he has two in the box for 5-pounds total. He's lost a 3-pounder.
Not close enough to talk to the others. But I see Brandon Palaniuk and Cliff Prince.
We just watched Prince battle with a short fish. Other than that, the wind is blowing about 10-miles per hour and there seems to be a lot of boats running around.
