Pro Joe Lee and his co-angler Casey O'Donnell are the first anglers we've found this morning that have 5-bass limits in the boat. And they've got a story to go with it.
"We caught five fish on one cast (apiece) this morning," Lee said. "Casey caught three (on an A-rig) and I caught two (on a jerkbait). Three were keepers."
They've continued to catch fish as we've watched them. And every bass they reel in has a school of spots following it.
The fog is finally starting to lift. When you can get out of it, you can see there's nothing but blue skies and bright sunshine over Lake Norman. But when you're in the thick of it, even now, the sun looks like a full moon, when you can see it at all.
