Fog is gone

The fog has finally lifted off Lake Norman, and everyone is free to move about. That definitely wasn't the case for most of the morning. At one point we found David Kilgore, who has already qualified for the Bassmaster Classic. We watched him catch one short fish after another for probably 30 minutes.

"I had three good ones on and lost 'em," Kilgore said. "And now I can't catch a keeper."

Kilgore was waiting for the fog to clear before moving.

"I'll catch 'em," he said. "At least I can see where I'm going now."

The pair of Moores and I are leaving Lake Norman, so Ronnie can get a photo gallery together before today's 3 p.m. weigh-in at Blythe Landing.
