Fred Roumbanis caught a 4-pounder at 10:20, giving him 17-5 for the day and putting him, unofficially in second place. Then Skeet Reese caught a 4-pounder at 10:25 that gave him 18 pounds, topping Roumbanis.
Josh Bertrand and Jonathon VanDam both have over 16 pounds. VanDam finished second and Bertrand eighth at the St. Lawrence River in 2013.
