Overcast skies and light rain are one thing; pouring rain and accompanying thunder and lightning are another. It's the latter that's over Waddington right now. If you're up the river to the west, you might have withstood the worst already. Anglers downstream to the east, towards Montreal, haven't seen the worst yet.

 

Radar indicates this is a thin band of storms that should clear Waddington in about an hour. But the fishing conditions here now are miserable.
