Justin Lucas had a "14- to 15-pound limit" by 8:35 this morning, according to Steve Bowman, who recently found him in an unusual place in the Delta. It's so unusual in fact that boat driver Norm Soderberg had a hard time believing they weren't in brackish water.
"I've learned something today," said Soderberg, a long-time angler in the Delta.
Lucas is way back in a canal that's loaded with wood pilings and bass, apparently. He's flipping a Berkley Pit Boss, which he's been though a ton of this week.
