We are leaving Zaldain and from now until check in we won't have eyes on him.
He currently has four fish for about 7 pounds. He's in desperate need of a big fish to keep him in this race.
There are plenty of places in between us and the approximate 50 miles he has to run to finish his limit.
This is also the California Delta so that final fish, if it comes, could be anything from 1- to 12-pounds. Obviously any of those would help, the upper side of that scale would keep him at the top of the standings.
Regardless he should stay in the top 12 and tomorrow, as proven by today, anything can happen.
The odds for Zaldain, though, go up with today's final fish.
