We don't know what it looks like in Orange, but over in the Taylor Bayou area, we are able to motor to a point where we can see the anglers once they take off and get close.
Visibility is well over a half mile here and we can feel a little bit of a breeze.
It appears from this vantage point that things are safe on our end. That doesn't mean it is in between us and those we want to cover. But it does indicate that things are trending for the better.
We have until 11:30 for this to clear or the day becomes a wash. I would think that given this trend, we should be okay. It might take another hour. But at least we could be fishing another day.
