James Overstreet, boat driver Ken Miller and I have trailered down from Port Huron and are now observing Chris Lane, through the haze and bugs that are hovering over the Anchor Bay area of Lake St. Clair.
Lane would like to have some wind to improve the smallmouth bite. He's got five, but needs some more weight. He's got about 15 pounds. We'd like to have some wind to keep the bugs out of our faces.
