The 112 Elite Series anglers are strung out from one end to the other of this long, narrow Colorado River reservoir. There's at least one angler as far north as you can get, just below Davis Dam at Lake Mohave. And there are several guys at the south end, near Parker Dam, which was completed in 1938 and forms Lake Havasu. But the vast majority aren't far from the Havasu City launch site.
It's currently 70 degrees at Havasu City and the wind is whipping – 21 mph from the south/southwest. That wind isn't forecast to wane anytime today.
