It will be interesting to compare the numbers and weights of the bass caught yesterday and today. While some of the Day 1 leaders have struggled, especially the guys who are flipping and looking for five big bites, the rest of the field is whacking ’em.
Marshals are reporting fish-catches just as quickly as they were yesterday. BASSTrakk showed 37 anglers with limits at 11:39 a.m. Skeet Reese continues to fall down the standings from an earlier third-place slot this morning. But that was inevitable, since Reese had only three bass and a 6-0 total on Day 1. It’s unlikely he can improve much, if at all, on that 20 1/2-pound bag he caught early this morning.
