Skeet Reese put bass No. 3 in the livewell at 7:52 a.m. It was a long, skinny fish that weighed about 2 1/2 pounds. He caught it while working his way around one of the islands in Seibold Creek.
Reese said the swimbait he's throwing is a 7-inch Basstrix model. He's throwing it in places where you'd cast a spinnerbait, right next to the bank, amidst laydowns and any other type of cover and reeling it steadily back, without any additional action from his rod.
