Martens has arrived at Bowley’s Marina

Aaron has arrived at Bowley's Marina. Like the previous two days he's working a spinnerbait along the seawall, working his toward the end of a dock.

At the end of the dock there is a boat channel. Then the seawall picks up again.

The gap between the dock and seawall are a perfect funnel. When the tide starts moving it flushes or moves in and out through tact gap and the bass move there to ambush.

That's been his first key spot.

Inside the gap is a long, long dock, possibly 300 yards long. But it ends a boat channel away and has groupings of pilings on it. Plus there is a drop underneath that. Depending on the tide it can be a 2 or 3 feet drop in 7 or 8 feet of water.

That's his second key spot.

Yesterday he expanded on that a bit with some key pilings up and down that long dock. But that was when the tide was getting at its lowest.

The tide is coming in now and will be high in an hour then start dropping. Usually when it turns is when the bite starts.
