Do good things happen to good people?

If you recall what happened at the St. Lawrence River two weeks ago, you might think that Bill Lowen has karma in his favor today.

The scenario was this: Kevin Ledoux and Lowen had shared a hotspot on the river the first two days. Lowen said he'd blown his chances at a Top 12 finish by losing some key fish, and therefore was "just fishing for points" on Day 3.

But Ledoux was in contention for his first Elite Series Top 12, so Lowen put Ledoux on what had been his best spot in that area.

"It was really cool of Bill to do that," Ledoux said. "I owe him a bunch."

Lowen said Ledoux kept waving for him to come fish in the spot Saturday, "but I'm like, no, I'm not going to do it."

When told that Ledoux said he owed him "a bunch," Lowen said, "Nah, he don't owe me nothing. That's just who I am."

What Lowen is right now is leading this tournament on Championship Sunday, but it's far from over.
