The barnacle curse

The barnacle curse has struck again. We made it back to where we started and are one of the two key places he's been catching fish.

It's rough here from all the boat wakes and traffic. In the middle of that Aaron sets the hook and a second later his line breaks.

He immediately let out a yell, throwing his rod down.

"It was heavy," he said. "Definitely not a 12 incher."

After a minute or two to settle down. He added "at least they are here. That's a good thing."

It might well be. One of the questions we've had after yesterday is if his spots will reload. These key spots seem to be doing that. We are just 30 yards from where he's caught a 4-pounder on each of his last two stops. One today and one yesterday.
