Less current flowing today

Bass anglers want current, the more the merrier. Particularly for Kentucky Lake's ledge fishing, a heavier current tends to bunch the bass behind any obstruction along a ledge. And there's very little current in the lake this morning.

During the first two days of the tournament, the water released at the dam was a steady 50,000 cubic feet per second. But it hasn't been that heavy since the pros left the lake on Thursday. Water releases by the TVA have been a steady 29,000 cfs since then, as is the case now.
