Evers is getting serious

Edwin is sitting on a river ledge where he said he finished second to KVD the last time we were here.

He's marked several fish, but nothing that gets his dander up. This is the same place he caught the big one this morning.

He hopes to cull and said "if I don't catch one here, I'm going to have to get serious."

Of course he's already serious, but obviously he thinks he will have to turn it up a notch. In each of the last two days on Kentucky Lake, he's caught big fish later in the day.

But he's also had the luxury of having a decent sack that allowed him to explore some.

We assume without asking that getting those big fish in the boat is the serious part.

He has a good start. But by Kentucky Lake standards, it's got to grow to be decent.

He's not exploring yet. But we feel like that time is coming.
