Well, we tried to leave. But Randy is making things interesting.
Randy just caught a "bonus" fish. A good one, 4 pounder. "That's what the Senko will do for you. That ol' Senko is a baaaad dude."
Randy says it's a good time of day and he's going to show us the 10 pounder he's chasing. I'm starting to believe him.
Says he's trying to be like Mark Davis. Sitting real still and just spotting beds, and fishing very, very slow.
We also had 2 manatees float by, briefly surfacing. Randy said he almost through his lure their way when he saw the disturbance in the water. Between that and pelicans begging us for food, there's no shortage of wildlife surrounding us on St. Johns.
