In the span of three casts, Lane boats a dink, then hooks up with what appeared to be a much bigger fish.
The big one, though, shook off in the heavy lily pads. He was obviously upset, but just for a moment.
He looked across to his spectators and told a young boy, "you've got to shake those off."
Whether Lane has shook off the list fish or not no one knows. But he's back to dobbing his worm.
"I've got all day," he says to no one in particular.
