We lost track of Chris Lane after he left the river and hit the lake. That sounds like a hard thing to do on a big old lima-bean shaped pond. But it happened.
Whether he hit a spot and it paid off won't be known except in BASSTrakk or at the weigh-in. We are headed back and several of the Elites are passing us.
If things hold up like BASSTrakk has it, it promises to be an interesting outcome.
Lane should still lead, but Hite is putting on some pressure. Lane may have to catch them better tomorrow than he did today. Without the lunker, he's in the 12- to 13-pound range.
Should make for a fun final.
