Hite’s 6-pounder culls up 5 pounds

Brett Hite just caught a 6 pound bass, allowing him to cull up nearly 5 pounds. We're estimating that gives him around 20 pounds in the livewell. Brett caught the big fish right off the boat dock you see in the photo. He had cast under the dock and the fish followed the lure out. The bite came literally a foot or two from the boat.

The fish however did pay him back just a little. When Brett was putting it in the livewell the bass gave a strong kick and sliced his finger with its dorsal fin. In the photo Brett is sitting down to tape up his finger. I'm thinking Brett considers this a fair trade.
