We start our day in search of Kevin Short, launching our boat from a small ramp next to the stadium where Philly's professional soccer team plays. That's south of downtown. While searching for the creek Kevin is fishing, we hit a sandbar and quickly ground to a halt. Fortunately we worked our way loose without having to climb into the water. Our Lowrance unit said we were in a foot of water. A local angler was not so lucky. We watched him run into a sandbar nearby. When we left he was in the water still trying to pry his boat loose. All in a days work covering the Elite Series!
