It took awhile but we finally made way up the Neosho River to Cliff Crochet.
The Cajun Baby has three in the well for about 6 pounds. He’s loving it at the moment. He’s catching them in a way he’s not caught them yet. And he’s having fun doing it.
I think he’s told us this is his best start all week. He appears to have this part of Grand all to himself, which could be a good thing.
It’s yet to be seen just how quickly the rest of the lake is recharging. Having an area where others aren’t picking off the good ones gives an added advantage at this point.
The water temp is in almost 63. Color is stained so it should warm quickly in the bright sun and breezy weather today.
