Reese hoping for a Top 50 cut

At 1:05 Skeet Reese said, "I'm two bites away from being able to fish tomorrow." At 1:10, he was one bite away, after he culled a 1 1/4-pounder with a 3 3/4-pounder. At 1:20, Reese might have made the cut, when he culled a 2-pounder with a 3-pounder. At 1:25, he culled up another 1/2 pound.

Reese has been throwing a SnagProof Ish's Fat Frog most of the day. After the morning clouds left, he switched from a white one to a black one.

"I've got all the colors, green and brown, but it seems like the only two I ever throw are white and black," Reese said.

The black frog produced that recent flurry, which might be enough to allow Reese to make the Top 50 cut and fish again tomorrow. He's probably got 15 pounds now and has no little rats left in his livewells.
