A new addition to B.A.S.S. lobby, but it's only a temporary one.
At a recent ISE expo in Sacremento, California four of the best in B.A.S.S. carried on a discussion about next month's GEICO Bassmaster Classic. Thanks to Amy Murray for sending in pictures of her husband John who joined Chris Zaldain, Brandon Palaniuk, and Ish Monroe for the panel. Pictures by Kent Brown.
Apparently catching 63 bass in a single day increases your chances of catching a cold. Had a great day yesterday on Lake Bastrop and today I'm sick, and my voice is almost gone. I'm doing seminars this weekend in Dallas so hopefully I'll get my voice back or I may be giving my seminars in sign language!
During the offseason before the Classic, I always spend lots of time fishing on waters that produce lots of fish to help me stay sharp and to heighten my passion for the sport we all love. This gorgeous 5+ pounder fell for a Booyah Spinnerbait!
It can certainly be cold in Alabama in February, but we're hoping that it won't be as cold as it was in 1940 when you could drive a truck on Lake Guntersville. Check out this post on vallywx.com about the time that Lake Guntersville froze over. How does the first ice fishing Classic sound? Photos by JD Wall.
