Two swings, two misses for Evers

There hasn't been much to report from the Edwin Evers camp. It's so slow here that our boat driver has fallen asleep. Of course, the action could return at a moment's notice. I've seen Evers swing on two fish in the past 10 minutes but he missed both. After the first miss, Evers took off his cap and rubbed his face, something I took as a sign of frustration. On the second miss, he sort of grunted when his lure came flying back toward him. He's fishing very shallow at the moment, slowly cranking a grassy bank with what appears to be a squarebill. Hopefully, the action will pick up soon. Boat driver Jim Leary's snoring is getting loud.
