With Faircloth basically stroking them at the moment and the other two AOY leaders running behind, it looks like we've stumbled into one heckuva derby.
Of course a lot of time is left. And conditions are changing constantly. We watched the wind shift today, which had very little bearing on any of these guys. Tomorrow that will likely change.
Preliminary forecasts are calling for strong south winds. On the north end of Lake Michigan that can be trouble.
In Faircloth's situation, it could make his area virtually unfishable. And it would certainly make moving around a very bumpy ride.
So a lot of things can still happen. All of it adding up to what is currently shaping up to be a lot of fun to watch.
