The B.A.S.S. community goes to many places, all across this big country we call home. But the folks in Orange had showed up in a major way. There were a couple thousand people at the weigh-in this afternoon. They were here not only for the big fair that's taking place around this event, but also to see their favorite anglers do their thing on the Sabine River.
Ferris wheels, Tilt-a-Whirls and shrimp on a stick aside, this game has become serious for everyone who will be fishing tomorrow.
"You have to go with your first instinct," said Cliff Crochet, who lives in neighboring Louisiana. "I don't want to think too much. Today, I went with my second instinct....I haven't even gone where I planned to fish this tournament."
