After another washboard run, we came across Jason Christie fishing a gravel bank on the main lake. When I saw Christie early in the morning on the first day of the tournament, he was cranking fast and shallow in a stout wind. Right now he's dragging some type of bottom rig.
"I've got about 11 1/2 pounds," he says.
Over the past year, Christie has proven to be a formidable force. I'm not surprised to see him doing well here.
